I Need Support

Whatever has happened to you, it’s important to remember that it isn’t your fault, no matter what anyone else may say to you. The responsibility for crime always rests with the perpetrator and never the victim.

There are services available for you locally depending on where you are on your journey. If you have just been, or recently assaulted visit this page first.

Deciding when to seek support is a personal choice; there are a number of options available including telephone, face-to-face, groups and self-help articles/web apps. The most important decision is to find what works for you, and to understand that you are able to control how you feel in the future.

If you would like to speak with someone in confidence over the telephone there are organisations with specially trained staff who can help you.

You can access support from a local ISVA by completing the web form or contacting your local specialised service in Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham or Sheffield.

There are a number of phone apps and articles for women & girls or men & boys located here
