The ‘South Yorkshire Sexual Violence Partnership’ is an independent charity (Charity Number: 1173283) set up to support specialist sexual violence providers in South Yorkshire
Any information that is disclosed to an ISVA worker will be treated in confidence unless:
1) There is evidence that someone (including yourself) is in significant danger.
2) A criminal investigation could be undermined.
When someone completes the referral form, the ‘South Yorkshire Sexual Violence Partnership’ acts as a ‘data processor’ for the individual service providers (BSARCS, DRASACS, RothACS, SRASAC) who act as ‘data controllers’. The ‘data controllers’ will store personal & identifiable information on a secure database for the purposes of managing your case and storing interactions between yourself and assigned ISVA worker.
Each service provider will provide a document (contract) outlining clearly what they will do with your personal information, who it will be shared with, and how you can access or change the permissions associated with your personal information.
